Public Toilet Review

Location and Access

This public toilet is shown on the map and in the app, so finding the location itself was not difficult. The problem started after arriving. The app mainly gives directions, but that does not mean the toilet will actually open or work properly when you get there.

Waiting Time

There was no real queue when I visited. The waiting time came mostly from checking whether the door would open and whether the payment system would work. In a situation where you urgently need a toilet, that makes the place feel unreliable.

Cost and Payment

The listed cost appears to be 50 cents. There also seems to be a free urinal area, but the main toilet is generally treated as a paid public toilet. The biggest issue is payment. Card payment and NFC payment may not work, which means you can reach the toilet, try to pay, and still not be able to use it.

Cleanliness

The cleanliness was disappointing. Some people may have experienced it as modern, well-lit, and nicely designed in the past, but the condition I noticed was not that good. It looked neglected, partly dirty, and there were signs of blockage or poor maintenance. It also looked like someone might have been staying inside or using the space for longer than intended.

Smell

The smell was quite bad. It may still serve its purpose for a very quick stop, but it is not a pleasant toilet to stay in. The odor becomes especially noticeable when the toilet is not well maintained.

Door Lock and Malfunctions

The door and general operation were the main problems. Sometimes the toilet does not open at all. Even when it opens, there are concerns about whether the door closes properly. That makes privacy a real issue. There are also repeated signs that the toilet may be out of service or not working, so I would not rely on it too much.

Handwashing Area

The handwashing area was not dependable. There seemed to be a sink or water dispenser, but the water did not work reliably. I would recommend carrying hand sanitizer or wet wipes in case you cannot wash your hands properly after using it.

Satisfaction

My overall satisfaction was low. The location is useful, and the 50-cent price would be reasonable if everything worked. However, the unreliable door, payment problems, bad smell, and poor cleanliness make it hard to recommend with confidence.

Would I Use It Again?

Only in an emergency. If there is another public toilet, station toilet, café, or any better option nearby, I would choose that first. This toilet is only worth trying when it is open, working, and there is no better alternative.
