Public Toilet Review

Location and Access

This public toilet is in a fairly accessible location. If you are walking around the area and need a restroom quickly, it is not difficult to find. The location itself was not the main issue for me, but whether the toilet is actually working is something you need to check on-site.

Waiting Time

When I visited, I could not use it right away. The system did not work smoothly, and I had to wait around 15 minutes. Even after waiting, there was still a risk of being pushed back out by the system. In an urgent situation, that can be extremely frustrating.

Cost and Payment

When I visited, I had to pay 0.50 euros to use the toilet. At that time, it was not a free public restroom. However, there have been recent reports that it can now be used for free, so the cost may depend on the current situation. The payment seemed to be handled through an automatic system or card payment, but it did not feel completely reliable. There have been reports of card payment not working and cases where people paid but still could not use the toilet.

Cleanliness

Cleanliness seems to vary a lot depending on the day. Some visitors reported that the toilet was clean, but during my visit, it did not feel well maintained. Parts of the toilet looked dirty, and considering that I had to pay 0.50 euros at the time, I expected better conditions.

Smell

The smell was not great either. It was not impossible to stand, but it did not feel fresh or pleasant. When the toilet is dirty, the smell becomes much more noticeable. For a paid public restroom, this was disappointing.

Door Lock and Malfunction

The biggest problem was the unreliable operation. The door and automated system did not feel dependable. There were situations where users were pushed back out, and several reports mentioned that the toilet was not working or was out of service. With an automated restroom, the door system needs to be trustworthy, and this one did not feel that way.

Handwashing Area

There seemed to be a handwashing area, but I would not fully rely on it. Because the overall condition changes, I would recommend carrying hand sanitizer or wet wipes. That feels safer, especially when you are not sure whether the sink and water are working properly.

Satisfaction Level

My satisfaction was quite low. The location is useful, and the recent reports saying it may now be free are a positive point. However, when I visited, I had to pay 0.50 euros, and the cleanliness and technical reliability were not good enough. The waiting time and malfunction risk made the experience unpleasant.

Willingness to Use Again

I would use this toilet again only in an emergency. If it is open, free, visibly clean, and clearly working, it could be useful. If it is paid again or the system seems unstable, I would rather look for another restroom.
