I used the public toilet near Alexanderplatz in Berlin. It is in a very central area, close to the TV Tower, so the location itself is convenient for tourists and people passing through the square. However, the actual condition of the restroom was far below what I expected from such a busy place.

Waiting Time

I had to wait briefly, and it felt like not every part of the restroom was properly available. Since there seemed to be only limited usable space, the wait could easily become longer if one stall is occupied or out of order.

Cost Information

The toilet cost 50 cents to use. There appeared to be free urinals for men, but the regular toilet stall was paid. After seeing the condition inside, I honestly felt that even 50 cents was too much.

Payment Method

I used coins to pay. It is better to prepare the exact 50 cents because getting change does not seem reliable. I would not count on a smooth modern payment option here.

Cleanliness Condition

The cleanliness was very poor. The floor was wet and dirty, and the area around the toilet looked badly maintained. There were signs of clogging, overflowing, and general neglect, which made the whole place feel unhygienic.

I would only use this toilet again if I had no other choice. If I had enough time, I would look for a café, station facility, or another restroom nearby instead.
